Coimbatore Marine College – School of Maritime Studies, in association with the Road Safety and Drug-Free Club, organized a Drug-Free Society Awareness Programme on 25 June 2026 at the college campus. The initiative aimed to educate students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and inspire them to lead healthy, responsible, and substance-free lives.The programme emphasized the importance of making informed choices and highlighted the role of young people in building a safer and healthier society. Through engaging awareness activities, students were encouraged to become ambassadors for positive change by spreading the message of living a drug-free life.As part of the event, Poster Making competition were conducted to provide students with a creative platform to express their ideas on drug prevention and social responsibility. The participants demonstrated exceptional creativity by presenting impactful messages that promoted awareness, resilience, and the value of a healthy lifestyle.The awareness campaign reflected the institution's commitment to fostering social responsibility, personal well-being, and community engagement among students.
