Industrial visits are vital part of the curriculum of CMC, School of Maritime Studies. As International port visit contributes a lot in holistic development of the students, our students flew to Malaysia under the Guidance of Dr.S.B Senthil Kumar, Director, CMC School of Maritime Studies.
The aim of this visit to Port-Klang, Malaysia, conducted on 28th February 2024 was to shed new light for all logistics and supply chain students pertaining to their career path in logistics. MBA students of CMC school of Maritime Studies were taken on a tour to view the entire process of the port.
The visit to aimed to expose logistics and supply chain management students to the various operations of the West port. This event also created a platform for students to develop their knowledge and prepare them for their future career paths accordingly to their interests.
Remarkably, CMC is the first institution from India to visit Port Klang the leading port of Malaysia. Apart from the educational port visit, our students were taken for Cultural Exposure such as visits to Architectural monuments and cultural sites contributed to accomplished learning journey.
Balancing education with entertainment, students not only learned but also enjoyed various attractions like twin tower, Batu Caves and Genting Highlands. Overall, the tour was designed to be both educational and enjoyable, leaving a lasting impact on our students.
